Breathing Air
Services is a Warrington based company specialising in
the repair and servicing of scuba diving equipment from all
major manufacturers.
It has become more
and more difficult for dive centres to maintain the in-house
staff and inventory of parts necessary to meet all customers'
needs in a timely manner as the range of scuba equipment has
grown and diversified. Our technicians are trained to repair
equipment manufactured by most major companies, and we are
devoted to keeping abreast of the latest equipment developments.
Because we specialise
in equipment repair and servicing, we maintain a large inventory
of parts so that we are always ready to service all types
of equipment by most manufacturers, including 1st and 2nd
stages, buoyancy compensators, tank valves etc.
All equipment is
serviced to the manufacturers' specifications and carries
a 30-day guarantee on workmanship. All regulator service turnaround
times are dependent upon the availability of parts.
NEWS FLASH:
Extract from
latest Health and Safety Executive Report:-
BRITISH DIVERS
are risking their lives by failing to maintain and service
their regulators adequately. Almost half of the regulators
tested during a three year investigation into diving deaths
would not pass the EU standard for regulator performance through
"lack of maintenance, servicing, cleaning and incorrect
setup".
According to
the report, more than 25% of the studied fatalities could
be directly attributed to equipment faults, the bulk of these
in regulators.
See Louise Murray's
report in the April edition of DIVE for the full story.
